Death consumes us painfully slow

From the second we are born

The bad die young, the good die younger

The loved one first to go

Life is almost not worth living

It's filled with so much pain

To me a form of torture

A gift that's not worth giving

Everything I get close to

Gets corrupted, or it dies

I don't know how to fix this

Oter than to stay away from you
